Not Every Ass is a Fool

Some work hard, have great companions,

and a decent life

Others work hard, get beaten, and often killed

That’s why we need your help.

Dear Animal Lover,

It’s unfortunate but true: many donkeys and mules work hard for years, with their only reward a beating. Then, when they can no longer “pull their weight,” they’re shot or sent off to slaughter.

We want to stop this, and we need your help to do it.

What we believe is simple: every animal put to work by humans deserves a safe place to live and decent food to eat. We think it’s just plain wrong to use an animal until they’re worn down and worn out, and then discard them like rotten meat.

We’re hoping that you also think that’s just wrong.
